Copper had a very full second week post-adoption. After all, after spending her first 7 months as a stray in rural KY, she has a lot of catching up to do before she has a sports career or performs on stage.
This week included everything from hiking through the “wilderness” and tracking lessons… to visiting the grounds of the Wisconsin State Capitol and practicing sit/down/come/shake/roll over on stage at the Overture Center.
Rather than write about all of Copper’s adventures, I put them all in this 2:44 video. Check out her amazing “frog legs” trick at 1:54. Though she’s a wild child who tries to chew everything (electrical cords, carpeting, shoes, dog beds, etc.), she is soooo sweet and cuddly, learns super fast and tries very hard to follow the rules. What a find she was!
